Ames Public Library and the Leopold Center present GREEN FIRE

Celebrate the conservation legacy of Aldo Leopold and his land ethic with a free showing of Green Fire and readings from Leopold’s work.

This annual event will include readings from Aldo Leopold's classic, A Sand County Almanac as well as pieces he wrote while in the American Southwest. Participants also can watch and discuss the U.S. Forest Service documentary about Leopold's life, GREEN FIRE.
