Gottfried Prairie and Arboretum presents GREEN FIRE

Reconnect with nature, the land…and be inspired. The public is invited to Aldo Leopold Day featuring a showing of the acclaimed Green Fire documentary film, in the McLane Room at the Fond du Lac Public Library at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday March 1st.

Aldo Leopold is best known as the author of A Sand County Almanac, the book that defined “land ethic” and served as a catalyst for ecological awareness and conservation of natural resources throughout the world.

The documentary, Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time is an Emmy-winning hour-long film about the life and career of Leopold and how he shaped and influenced the modern environmental movement. The film has been shown to sell-out crowds in cities across the nation.

Reservations are not required for this FREE event.
