Backyard Wildlife Habitat Program - Popcorn and a Movie - Aldo Leopold's Green Fire

Share

The first full-length documentary film made about legendary environmentalist Aldo Leopold (author of A Sand County Almanac), Green Fire highlights Leopold’s extraordinary career, tracing how he shaped and influenced the modern environmental movement. Green Fire was produced in partnership by the Aldo Leopold Foundation, the Center for Humans and Nature, and the US Forest Service. The film examines Leopold’s thinking, renewing his idea of a land ethic for a population facing 21st century ecological challenges.

The Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks, hosts public presentations the third Wednesday of the month.
